This past week, the North Hall Area Council celebrated the very anticipated April 20th date with a Pot Party! Residents were allowed to adopt their very own plants, and even paint pots during the event. Junior Zach Boyles, a veteran member of RHA said that "this was definitely not what I was expecting, but I ended up having a fantastic time!" Students from many different communities rushed across the street in front of Carroll Hall to see what all the fuss was about, and most sounded like they had a fantastic time!
In perhaps one of the most anticipated events yet this year, Denton Hall hosted Greenfest in front the Denton Community this past weekend! The turnout was more than they had anticipated, with over 300 students attending during the 3-hour event! There were representatives from over a dozen organizations on campus, many of which were encouraging sustainable and green habits. Students were able to adopt a plant, taste new organic food products, and even pet sustainable green -- yes green -- dogs! Definitely an event for the books, or should we say, garden!
